JOB TITLE: CERTIFIED OPHTHALMIC TECHNICIAN (NJ)
Omni Eye Services is offering an exciting opportunity to join our dynamic team as an Ophthalmic Technician in our New Jersey (NJ) offices. The candidate will be required to work varied shifts Mon-Fri, between the hours of 7:30am to 6:00pm and at least two (2) Saturdays/month. Travel between our four (4) office locations is required.
In this role, the technician will test and measure eye function to assist the ophthalmologists and optometrists to diagnose and treat eye disorders and disease.
- Performs all aspects of visual acuity testing and Visual Field Testing
- Completes Medical History, Lensometry, Auto Refracting, Refraction, Glare Testing and Tonometry.
- Slit Lamp Examinations
- Performs other duties as assigned
- High School diploma
- Must be a Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) or (COT) from a Joint Commission for Allied Health Personnel (JCAHPO) approved institutional course
- One (1) to Three (3) years' experience as an Ophthalmic Technician preferred

JOB TITLE: OPHTHALMIC ASSISTANT/TECHNICIAN POSITION: ALL OFFICES
We are seeking an enthusiastic ophthalmic assistant/technician with a winning customer service attitude. Strong interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) are a must. Strong work ethic, reliabe and dependable. The requirements of this position include, but are not limited to, the following tasks: operating various ophthalmic diagnostic equipment, preparing patients for treatment and assisting doctors during procedures, preparing patients' charts for physicians, and assisting physicans with EHR.

JOB TITLE: OPHTHALMIC EHR (ELECTRONIC HEALTH RECORDS) SCRIBE POSITION: All OFFICES WITH TRAVEL
The scribe's duties will involve being in the exam room with the doctor as they examine the patient and entering data into the EHR (Electronic Health Records) system. This requires accurate and detailed completion of the EHR record and charge ticket. Excellent computer skills are required as well as accurate spelling and typing skills. This position also requires outstanding patient service skills.
