Dr. La Fata is a graduate of the SUNY State College of Optometry, where she received the Scott Folsom Scholarship and was a member of the National Honor Society. Post graduation, Dr. La Fata completed a residency through the Pennsylvania College of Optometry in ocular disease at Omni Eye Services of New Jersey and Omni Eye Surgery of New York where she specialized in ocular disease. Dr. La Fata joined Omni Eye Services as consultative optometrist in 2006. Dr. La Fata specializes in diagnosis and management of ocular disease for adults and the geriatric population. She is currently licensed to practice optometry in New York and New Jersey. Dr. La Fata holds an Adjunct Clinical Faculty position at both the SUNY State College of Optometry and the Pennsylvania College of Optometry. She is a member of the American Optometric Association and the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians.
