Chelsea Kleen, O.D.
Dr. Kleen began her academic career when she was accepted into an accelerated 7-year program through both her undergraduate and optometry schools. She graduated from The College of New Jersey in 2011 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology. She completed her medical training at State University of New York College of Optometry in Manhattan, graduating in 2014 as a Doctor of Optometry.
Her clinical rotations took place at SUNY, Omni Eye Services, and the Hudson Valley VA Hospital in Montrose, New York. It was during her time at these externships when she developed a love for the treatment and management of ocular disease, and decided to pursue additional education in this field.
In 2014, she was awarded a residency position through Omni Eye Services with a concentration in Ocular Disease and Refractive Surgery.
Dr. Kleen was invited to join the staff at Omni Eye Services as a consultative optometrist in 2015. She has spent time working alongside all of the practice specialists, as well as providing her own patient care, including emergency, pre and post-operative surgical care. In 2017, Dr. Kleen accepted the position as Center Director of the Parsippany office.
Dr. Kleen is licensed to practice optometry in the states of New Jersey and New York. She is a Diplomate of the American Board of Optometry and an active member of the American Optometric Association and the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians.
